Everest is a Gold Winner with the Best in Biz Awards
ORLANDO, December 7, 2022 – Everest Ice and Water Systems has been named a Gold winner in the Fastest-Growing Company of the Year category for the 12th annual Best in Biz Awards. This program is the only independent business awards program judged each year by prominent editors and reporters from top-tier publications in North America.
The 12th annual program saw fierce competition among more than 700 entries from public and private companies of all sizes and representing all industries and regions in the U.S. and Canada, ranging from some of the most iconic global brands to the most innovative start-ups and resilient local companies. This year’s judges highlighted the winning companies’ visionary leadership, innovative strides in the use of new technologies, laudable employee diversity and inclusion programs and workplace best practices, and many winners’ continued community involvement and monetary and time investments in their environment and corporate social responsibility programs.
“With so many impressive nominees, we take great pride and honor in being selected as a Gold winner for the Fastest-Growing Company of the Year in this prestigious awards program,” says Gilbert Ramirez Jr., Marketing Manager at Everest. “Despite some challenging times for all industries across the world, our team has worked hard to not only overcome every obstacle, but surpass our goals and break records across every department.”
The award is the most recent of several that Everest has earned over the past two years, including, but not limited to, the 2022 Orlando Inno Fire Awards, GrowFL’s 12th Annual “Florida Companies to Watch” Awards, and ranking for two consecutive years on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the country. Additionally, two members of the Everest management team were recently named honorees in Automatic Merchandiser’s 2022 40 Under 40 Awards.
Everest’s growth has been explosive over the past two years, from workforce and facilities to sales and revenue. Since the beginning of 2021, the company has expanded its workforce by 183% and increased its facilities by 300%. Furthermore, the company sold 172% more machines in 2022 than in 2021, exceeding its annual sales goal by 71%.
“Companies have had to navigate a difficult and complex landscape with many headwinds like labor shortages, supply chain disruptions, and record inflation this year. But many companies have risen to the challenge, adapted to tough circumstances, and attained remarkable growth,” says Joseph Pete, returning to judge Best in Biz Awards for the fifth time. “It was difficult to choose winners in the Fastest-Growing Company category in Best in Biz Awards 2022 as the businesses nominated could all boast impressive track records during trying and unprecedented times. All deserve praise and commendation for what they’ve been able to accomplish.”
Best in Biz Awards 2022 honors were conferred in 100 different categories, including Company of the Year, Fastest-Growing Company, Most Innovative Company, Best Place to Work, Customer Service Department, Executive of the Year, Marketing Executive, Most Innovative Service, Enterprise Product, Best New Product, App, CSR Program, Environmental Program, Website, and Film/Video of the Year.
